Terms of Service

Last updated: October 19, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the RunWatch application (“RunWatch”, the “App”) and this website, provided by Nika Urchadze (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

RunWatch is a macOS menu-bar app that shows the status of AI coding agent sessions running on your Mac, currently Claude Code, as a small always-on-top widget, and lets you jump to the place where each session runs. It works on macOS 14 or later.

2. License

RunWatch is proprietary software. Subject to these Terms and an active subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on a Mac you own or control. A subscription covers a single Mac, identified by a hashed device identifier. Each additional Mac needs its own subscription.

You may not copy (except as needed to install), modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and payment

RunWatch requires an active subscription. You subscribe inside the App after downloading it, for $2.49 per month or $24.99 per year, per Mac. There is no free tier.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time through Whop and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Card payments are processed by Whop, under Whop’s Terms of Service. We never receive your full card details.

4. Your Claude Code settings

When you switch on “Connect Claude Code”, the App adds its hooks to your Claude Code settings file (~/.claude/settings.json). It leaves your other settings and hooks in place and saves a backup of the original file once. You can switch it off at any time in the App’s Settings. You remain responsible for your own Claude Code configuration.

5. Third-party software

RunWatch works alongside software made by others, such as Claude Code, the Claude desktop app, Visual Studio Code, Terminal, and iTerm. Your use of that software is governed by its own terms. RunWatch is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic or any of those vendors.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Session status is based on the events Claude Code reports and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will detect every session or status change.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or work, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in Tbilisi, Georgia.
